Claim Handler - Travel & Personal Accident
Job Summary
With moderate direction, handles Travel & Personal Accident (PA) insurance claims, to ensure that claims are handled in the most efficient, effective way while delivering a customer-centric claims service. The role will play a crucial role in processing, evaluating, and analyzing claims to ensure timely and accurate resolution while preventing fraudulent claims.
Job Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree with at least 3.00 GPA, in any discipline.
- Experience in handling claims for Travel and/or Personal Accident insurance.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in English is preferred.
- Previous experience in insurance industry.
Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities
- Collect, evaluate, and analyze claims documents related to Travel & Accident Solution claims (Conventional & Sharia).
- Document claims file by accurately capturing and updating claims data/information. To determine liability by gathering and analyzing relevant facts.
- Analyse and assess if the insurance policy covers the reported losses.
- Determine the appropriate amount the insurance company should pay for each claim.
- Ensure the validity of claims by identifying and preventing fraudulent activities.
- Work to have a timely resolution to claims by developing case strategy, developing a case evaluation, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Meet SLA and quality standards by following best practices.
