Pricing Manager - Zurich Topas Life

Job Summary

Leads a team to deliver routine actuarial pricing tasks and recommendations requiring minimal direct supervision, and to perform more complex actuarial analyses under the supervision of more senior actuaries, in relation to both Individual and Group Pricing.

Job Qualifications

Required:

• At least 5 years of experiences in Pricing and/or Valuation related role
• Qualified (or nearly) Qualified Actuary
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, commercial acumen and superior analytical skills

  Preferred:

• Experience of management of a team or proven coaching ability

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities

• New product pricing and re-pricing review
• Provide technical support to Pricing team, both Individual and Group Business
• Responsible to support Local Chief Underwriting for Group Business
• Participating and reviewable rates products management
• Financials review of product and customer campaign
• Financials and risks assessment on underwriting initiatives
• To show strong technical knowledge and experience in product pricing/design with business acumen while adhering to regulatory and corporate requirements.
• To recommend approval of product in a professional and timely manner.
• To build and become an enabling actuarial function supporting product pricing in-line with organizational business goals whilst adhering to professional standards.
