The Group Finance Data Management team has the authority to align Group Finance Data around internal and external reporting across functions and centralize all activities in One Team. It is supported by one single Finance Data Management tool with enhanced capabilities and E2E business change workflows with the aim to remove data redundancies, breaking up information and data silos, following a single source of truth concept, supporting a simplification and automation of data sourcing, and reducing efforts spent on data reconciliation and true ups.

 

Job purpose: As a part of Group Finance Data Management team, you will be responsible for a day-to-day maintenance of Company Master Data and all its settings in FDM tool by ensuring data integrity and quality. You will work closely with the business and act as an advisor to various stakeholders across the group.

 

Job description:

  • Company Master Data administration & management in FDMT/EBX (database of entities held by the Group Finance and Group Legal containing information on different types of Zurich entities and its parameters)
  • CMD system maintenance incl. ensuring correctness and completeness of data coming from various users i.e., BU’s. aligning and supporting in cases of discrepancies/errors
  • CMD closing process:
    • Gathering data about changes to units (new/liquidated), organizing meetings/calls to clarify issues/requirements from both sides
    • Preparing and conducting of approval meetings with Group Stakeholders as per yearly schedule 
    • Following up on the actions raised during the meeting, gathering approvals and processing changes within FDMT
    • Publication of changes on SharePoint, data distribution to technical teams and reconciliation of changes
  • Executing and reviewing controls within ICFR framework
  • delivering ad-hoc finance reports to various stakeholders
  • Participation and support in strategic projects related to Company Master Data
  • Transform projects into stable BAU (Business as Usual) mode
  • Cooperation with all internal stakeholders i.e., other Master Data, IT, Group Reporting & Consolidation and Accounting Policy teams, BU accountants, FSM / FIP Team, PPM Team

 

Candidate’s profile:

 

  • University degree - finance and accounting, economy, business administration, management
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Fluent spoken and written English skills
  • Analytical skills, passion for detail, reliability, “can do” attitude, goals driven, flexibility
  • Focus on collaboration
  • IFRS experience, accounting certification, SAP knowledge – as a plus

This role is related to the key area of Zurich’s activity in Kraków.
