Recruitment Senior Specialist

(part-time 50%, fixed-term 6 months contract)

Your Role:

Is to deliver best-in-class recruiting activities for our Headquarters in Zürich, Switzerland. You will focus on selecting and hiring students and young professionals by actively engaging candidates, providing subject matter expertise, driving delivery and advising our business managers. This role is important in delivering on our people promises of long-term employability and sustainability.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Advise the business regarding hiring options, skills, optimal sourcing channels, interviewing and assessment best practices and compensation topics
  • Actively support and encourage a behavior-based, fact-based, objective selection process by conducting interviews and advising the business managers
  • Create an active recruiting pipeline for young professionals, with attention to providing a diverse pool of high potential candidates
  • Act as a talent ambassador for the company, informing candidates about our excellent benefits and working environment
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert to continually inform and improve the recruiting process ensuring an exceptional candidate experience
  • Utilize tools and sourcing platforms to drive an effective delivery of services, as measured against metrics and key performance indicators

 

Candidate’s profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent HR related qualification
  • 3-5 years’ experience in either external agency recruitment or in-house hiring
  • Ability to engage with and advise senior stakeholders
  • A team player who is driven to go the extra mile to provide an exceptional service to all stakeholders
  • Strong English language communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (i.e. SuccessFactors Recruiting is a plus)
  • Experience within graduate recruiting in Financial Services or Insurance industries preferred
  • This position is available at 50% workload. A combination of half days and full days throughout the working week would be ideal and we are happy to offer you flexibility in the schedule.
  • Availability for 6 months contract with possibility for extension

In March 2016 we established a Shared Service Centre in Kraków, in Poland to support our global strategy. It is from this location that we have created a global shared service platform, focusing on advanced business functions such as financial accounting and reporting, planning and performance management, ICFR testing, financial systems management as well as HR integrated talent management operations.

 

This role is related to the key area of Zurich’s activity in Kraków. We are committed to complete the recruitment process as soon as possible, however in some occasions it may take up to 6 months and the requirements for the position may be subject to some clarification or modification during the recruitment process.
