AM Retail Banking Sales Management


Job Summary

The role of this position involves maintaining and developing new and profitable business, grow core business in line with Banca strategy, ensure high renewal retention and servicing with bank partner and its strategic partners and customers.

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities

  • Support line manager and motivate Banca Team to achieve growth, profitability and retention target.
  • Participate in defining consumer product distribution channel need and emerging opportunities
  • Participate in defining target segments and strategies for insurance products
  • Propose development of new products for various bank distribution, when need arises
  • Develop new products, marketing and presentation materials, i.e. training materials, staff briefing materials, etc. for various bank distribution channel
  • Strategic planning, marketing and business development for various bank distribution channel
  • Strengthen business relationship with partner Bank and maximize business opportunities
  • To work jointly with internal department or team on pre-sales activities & support for sales acquisition.
  • Comply with guidelines set by company and regulatory bodies e.g. PIAM, BNM
  • Undertake assignment/tasks as assigned by HOD, Management or Line Manager as and when deems necessary

Job Qualifications

1. Qualification

  • Diploma/Degree in any and /or related
  • AMII/CII/DMII or equivalent insurance qualifications

2. Experience

  • 2 years in insurance industry

3. Skills

  • Knowledge of insurance product
  • Possess good presentation and negotiation skills
  • IT Literate

4. Personal Qualities

  • Mature personality and able to work independently
  • Self-motivated
  • Team player and able to motivate fellow team members
  • Communication: Oral and written communication skill

5. Other requirements

  • Achieving result, initiative, and concern for quality
  • Mobility: Willing to travel (within Klang Valley)
