Application Delivery Manager

Job Summary

Drives the development, maintenance and improvement of a portfolio of business applications, managing relationships with business and outsourcing partners to address application performance issues and drive service improvement.

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities

• Manage the service delivery of respective applications according to Service Level Agreements and address any gaps with the business.
• Report application service performance to the business, taking action where necessary to address application performance issues.
• Work with their IT Infrastructure counterpart in case of any infrastructure related issues.
• Ensure compliance with IT application, development and maintenance service management governance standards and policies and engage and represent IT in major incident management and problem management.
• Lead a team of specialists to develop and implement IT business processes and manage performance across all activities, in order to achieve business objectives and continuously improve performance.
• Manage internal and external suppliers as required through any application development, delivery and ongoing maintenance.

Job Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management, software development, or application delivery.
• In-depth understanding of software development methodologies, IT infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
