Conservation Specialist

Job Summary

Develop and deliver customer-specific value-added services for existing and new large Domestic and Global customers in order to build customer awareness of the organization’s Value Proposition.

Job Qualifications

Required:
• Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Claims or Underwriting area

OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Claims or Underwriting area

AND
• Experience working with commercial customers
• Experience in addressing customer needs

Preferred:
• CPCU
• Knowledge of Risk Management Information Systems

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities


• Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Risk Engineering and Information Technology Services.
• Serve as an advocate for our customers’ service needs, for all lines of business and coordinate with the appropriate business partner.
• Address service issues and questions including but not limited to, finance and billing, risk engineering, managed care, claims,
• Third Party Administrator oversight, legal bill review, litigation management, recovery and risk management Information systems.
• Communicate industry trends, risk insights and jurisdictional updates to customers and brokers.
• Develop and deliver service marketing presentations and Request for Approval responses that differentiate the organization’s services and demonstrate an ability to respond to customers´ needs.
• Overcome any servicing objections and obstacles.
• Demonstrate the impact of claims services on the account´s bottom line, through bench marking and/or cost-savings analysis.
• Deliver outcomes at annual stewardship meetings along with recommendations for enhanced results.
• Research the services needs of prospective and current clients.
• Build long- term relationships with the organization’s customers´ and brokers to enhance retention.
• Identify opportunities to cross sell and generate additional service revenue.
• Support and execute on the Global Corporate production strategy.
• Engage appropriate resources in order to address customers’ needs that are global in scope.
• Act as Key Contributor to the success of the relationship model by partnering with the Relationship Leaders and the Underwriting community in both new business development and stewardship process.

Job Functions


• Monitor and review financial information, updating where necessary in order to identify any anomalies or discrepancies and ensure management has access to up to date and accurate information.
• Support project delivery by inputting technical expertise, to help shape project delivery in line with existing processes and best practice.
• Support the project or program manager in the reporting and tracking of project/program status via standardized reporting processes to ensure senior managers have up to date and accurate information.
• Undertake investigations and inspections of data, processes and practice in accordance with established procedure to identify potential or actual compliance issues and recommend appropriate action.
• Independently collate and analyze operational data using pre-determined tools, methods and formats and make recommendations in order to support the department’s decision making process.
• Assess and evaluate project/program deliverables and business architecture/processes in order to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Plan and carry out regular reviews of business data and MI (including customer service metrics) using standard methodologies in order to identify shortfalls and recommend actions to improve performance.
• Review and interpret information and advise internal clients of appropriate action to fulfill procedural and regulatory requirements.
• Create and maintain documentation to keep an audit trail of activities to protect the organization and support the business in delivery standardization.
