Job Summary

The Group Information Governance (GIG), Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Operations Team is responsible for initial analysis, monitoring and escalation of data loss events (event handling) detected from cloud, web and email data protection controls. Our role is to protect company information from leaving the company.

 

You will be exposed to various forms of alerts that may include security breaches, intellectual property theft, insider trading, fraud and avoidance of security controls. You will also see personal information as well as confidential and highly confidential company information.

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities

The DLP Analyst will be primarily responsible for the maintenance and daily monitoring of the enterprise DLP solutions. The main duties of the person in this role will include the monitoring and responding to the alerts that generate from the tool. This person will interface closely with other GIG Data Loss Prevention analysts and members of the Incident Response Team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring alerts generated from the DLP systems and other technologies
  • Understanding and following the incident response triage process through event escalations
  • Writing to and challenging employees on why materials have left the company
  • Responding to escalations by the local Incident Response Team
  • Following processes to maintain the DLP systems for alerts and incidents

 

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated integrity in a professional environment
  • A good level of education
  • Multi-lingual including fluent in English both written and verbal communication
  • Must be able to communicate in Japanese as well both written and verbal communication
  • Confident with speaking to people at all levels
  • Good working knowledge in other languages is a plus especially Mandarin and Japanese
  • Excellent administration skills and attention to detail, with some working knowledge of Zurich (or other financial institution) and its business and practices
  • Ability to work within diverse, global, virtual team
  • Able to prioritize, organize and manage time efficiently
