Finance - IPZ Specialist (Collection & Accounting)

JOB SUMMARY:
This is a Team Leader role. Responsible for specific task related to collection and accounting including reconciliation and settlement. Involvement on system automation and system enhancement.

 

KEY TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
(A) Premium Collection
Managing and overseeing collection for the whole team. To meet global and local KPI set on bad debts, aged debt over 90 days and Local Unpaid Premium.

(B) Accounting - meeting tight timeline for settlement:

  • Perform premium bookings on a weekly basis
  • Generate Final CE/CL List and Statement of Account (SOA) every month after closing
  • Reconciliation process
  • Settlement - EMEA (Monthly basis) & Hannover Re (Quarterly basis)
     

(C) System Automation & Enhancement

  • Robotic automation – PPA & Booking
  • Participation in UAT (local & global project) and responsible to provide confirmation for sign-off

 

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 3 years’ working experience
  • Working in an accounting environment would be an added advantage

 

SKILLS:

  • English Proficiency both verbal and written
  • Excellent attention to details i.e. figures sensitive, analytical, and meticulous person
  • Ability to work very independently with minimal supervision
  • Analytical, communicative and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent Excel skills
