HR Business Partner

Partners with the managers and leaders for a function or small business unit, providing expert advice and support on core Human Resources processes, people strategy issues and initiatives. Partners with TA/ TMLD to support the business strategy by delivering human capital elements that ensure the achievement of business goals.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Provides Human Resources consulting to the business and leadership team and supports organizational design and development. 
  • Delivers initiatives to enable the achievement of key business objectives and supports any associated change. 
  • Supports the analysis and investigation of Human Resources issues and trends within the business area to help to identify improvement opportunity areas and supports the delivery of action plans.
  • Executes on Human Resources action plans by providing advice to colleagues to ensure effective HR program implementation. 
  • Provides clarity around the impact of HR initiatives (e.g., communicating the business value of programs, managing Human Resources program roll out to minimize business disruption, etc..). 
  • Partners with the business and TA/ TMLD colleagues on key talent and core HR process initiatives (e.g., performance management, selection, workforce planning, hi-potential employee development, succession planning, etc..).

 

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Human Resources role, with at least 5 years in a business partner capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with organizational design, change management, and talent management initiatives.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in financial institutions.
