Head of Business Strategy & Performance Management

Job Summary

The Head of Business Strategy & Performance Management is responsible for the ideation and thinking of distribution strategic objective to achieve business objective delivery.

 

Key deliverables including :

  1. Budget & Initiative Planning for Distribution Channels - Monitoring of MAAPA, Board Updates, market research, market share collation, BSC, compensation maintenance, development of business case for distribution initiatives.
  2. Reporting Management - Overseeing and maintaining the MIS Reporting for distribution channels, new enhancement for distribution rules in CORE system, persistency control, provide ad hoc analytics and distribution statistic, compliance and risk management for distribution channels. This also includes MOC reporting, special incentive payments, full- time scheme payments, Office Subsidy payments etc.

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities

  • To ensure the Sales function meets all internal and external governance and regulatory requirements and has in place a robust first line of defense that demonstrates effective controls and best practices.
  • To build strong relationships, share insights and ensure all key accountabilities are met in order to learn and improve as a business.
  • Leadership accountability for the Sales Operations team, working alongside Heads of Sales, Sales Managers and sales force across all Segments.
  • Effective execution of sales strategy by working in collaboration with Sales Leaders to build a high-performance culture ensuring our people are engaged and motivated in order to develop our expertise.
  • Build consistency across all segments to ensure the achievement of genuine sales excellence.
  • Responsible for regulatory, compliance and governance frameworks by facilitating and driving the implementation of General Insurance and regulatory governance.
  • Takes an overview of Sales related work streams and projects and takes responsibility for delivering key components and achievement of success criteria and commercial measures.
  • Delivery of Sales Management Information to ensure clarity in performance across various metrics in line with objectives and targets and business plans.
  • Play a key role in the Sales Leaders' meetings and peer reviews with a focus on best practices, building expertise, team performance, personal development, succession planning and compliance.
