Head of GI Motor Franchise & Recond


Job Summary

The two main area’s of focus are the delivery of Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) to direct customers and delivery of direct gross written premium (GWP) targets. Responsible for the delivery and maintenance of service excellence standards to all direct customers. This includes the execution of “on the ground” sales & service proposition within Operations.

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities

• Establish new business acquisition and retention initiatives to deliver gross written premium targets.
• Deliver direct gross written premium targets including new business and retention. This will include maintaining an awareness at all times of developing trends in direct selling (new business and retention) and implementing actions to respond to changes in customer demands and behaviour.
• Delivery of the highest standards of customer services to all direct customers.
• Implement a strong customer services and sales focus and culture across teams.
• Actively manage the services provided through all direct sales channels including telesales, web & mobile technologies.
• Ensure delivery of agreed service level agreements to direct customers, telephone service, post, customer experience.
• Analysis of daily key performance indicators and establishing methods to deliver improvements.
• Systematic sales reporting and a robust approach to budgets and targets.
• Foster a positive working environment focusing on co-operation and shared learning’s to drive results.
• Motivation and empowerment of others in order to reach strategic objectives.

Business Accountabilities

• Work with sales and distribution leadership in driving development in the channel in accordance with business goals.
• Lead the development of customer value propositions, securing the support of all colleagues as required.
• Develop sales and distribution processes locally and review policies relevant to direct channel in order to ensure they are in line with strategic business objectives.
• Establish and agree key performance targets and financial budgets for work unit in order to optimize business performance in line with set objectives.
• Build relationships with senior leaders to ensure that customer, distributor or market needs or trends are well understood and that plans are aligned to these needs/trends.
• Investigate and review customer cases and claims and represent the organization in contentious cases to ensure a speedy resolution in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
