Job Summary
Processes, monitors and distributes all investment data to high levels of quality and consistency. Operates and monitors the data warehouses and the feed management of input and output data updating and enriching data feeds. Defines and updates methodology where required.
Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities
- Conducts daily operational and closing tasks in terms of investment data setup and maintenance - and ensure data accuracy and consistency on the system/ platform by following the defined global - standards.
- Executes all the predefined global (and group) requirements and controls regarding reference data/ - pricing.
- Ensure compliance with the data quality control framework and processes so that the highest quality of data is provided.
- Ensures compliance with Zurich's governance and risk frameworks.
- Reviews and supplies regular and ad hoc reconciliation data and accounting data and ensure it is produced.
- Contributes on continuous improvement of data quality in the data supply chain.
- Works with local/ regional stakeholders to identify country specific requirements, special data treatment or any other local demands.
- Supports know-how and information exchange team members in terms of processes, incidents documentation or other open topics.
Business Accountabilities
- Contribute to the development of processes and lead the implementation of process improvements to ensure a high level of data quality and data consistency. - Processes all data queries raised by clients and counterparties to ensure delivery according to agreed standard level and service scopes.
- Monitors automated/manual data processes to enable data-based decision making and reporting
- Defines, establishes and monitors quality control processes to understand, quantify and mitigate the risks associated with data quality and data timeliness.
- Researches and understands industry best practices as well as internal business requirements ensuring the best professional advice is provided
- Supports preparation and delivery of the monthly closing processes to deliver monthly closings.
- Ensures that country specific requirements regarding investment data tasks are performed
- Conducts documentation of regional processes embedded in the Zurich's governance and risk frameworks
- Executes improvement/automation initiatives and present proposals in order to minimize manual processes and/or high risk areas.
- Spots and supports improvement of data quality, integrity and consistency in the data supply chain
Job Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in investment data management, data analysis, or financial services, with a proven track record in data governance and investment analytics.
