Process Digitalisation Senior Engineer

Summary

In this role, you will be part of the “Process Digitalisation” service within “Data & Analytics”. 

  • Support the implementation of new automation processes, services and systems to meet operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the roll-ins of new countries/business units onto the investment applications/platform in terms of automation
  • Requiring you to be responsible for the handover of the project changes to BAU-productive system.

 

Key Tasks & Accountabilities:

  • Work with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Lead Developers to understand business requirements and design documentation for automation 
  • Monitoring, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of Automation Processes 
  • Develop deep, value-based relationships with teammates, clients, prospects and partners 
  • Analyze complex quantitative and qualitative    data, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations 
  • Understand the business requirements and solution designs to drive implementation of automation tracks assigned by the lead developer
  • Develop/configure components as part of a team to deliver full solutions for clients. 
  • Develop/update/review functional/non-functional specifications for new processes and systems.
  • Perform Gap Analysis and Feasibility
  • Gather Business requirements and together with the Process Digitalisation team translate them into functional design.
  • Support the Setup of the Test concepts and the Test preparation (Test management)
  • Conduct/support the Functional Test 
  • Conduct/support the “User Acceptance Testing” to sign-off the new changes before promoting them into Productive system.
  • Provide/organize necessary user trainings 

 

Collaborate with: 

  • Investment Administration & Accounting (IAA) users for Investment Applications, etc related topics (SAP FSCM, BW, BI, Market Data solutions, Swift solutions & interfaces) 
  • IAA – Services (APME, Europe, Nord America)
  • IAA – Clients/Business Units
  • Group Investment Management and local IM units
  • Group IT Teams 
  • External IT suppliers (e.g., SAP) and consulting companies

 

Qualifications/ Experience

  • Minimum education level of: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) 
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft’s Power Platform or Blue Prism Robotic Process Automation ideal both 
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Strong development skills (object-oriented programming)
  • Strong Communication skills in written and spoken English.
  • The ideal candidate will also have experience in Python, R, Java-Script, C-Sharp
  • Subject Matter Expertise in Banking / Insurance industries would be nice to have
  • Proven ability to lead and work with multi-cultural project teams and facilitating work shops

 

Knowledge - The following areas of knowledge would be very helpful to a candidate to successfully fulfil this role:

  • Good knowledge about Finance and Investment instruments
  • Knowledge of Investment Administration and Accounting processes
  • Strong Business Analyst skills (e.g., analytical skills, requirement engineering)
  • Good Test management Skills
  • Good knowledge of SAP-FSCM and knowledge of SAP BW-reporting is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Project Management and BA methodology

 

Technical Skills Requirements: 

  • Microsoft Power Platform / Blue Prism: In Depth User Level Knowledge 
  • Programming Languages; Python, R, JavaScript, C-Sharp, SQL
  • MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Power Query, MS Power Apps, Word & Visio)
