Broker Relationship Manager (Part-Time, Job-Share, Full-Time)

The opportunity:
An excellent opportunity is available for a Broker Relationship Manager to join the Retail team. The key focus of the role will be to handle, understand and look after the needs of a broker panel ensuring they receive a high level of customer service as well as to optimise on sales opportunities via this panel on behalf of all Zurich business segments on a day to day basis.

What will you be doing?
- Management and development of new and or existing broker relationships.
- Development responsibility of broker accounts. These accounts will vary in size, complexity or technical in nature.
- Working under minimal supervision will be responsible for delivery of own sales and business performance targets.
- Identifying actual and potential customer or intermediary needs and meet those from the various products and propositions that exist within the business.
- Complete a granular evaluation of your broker panel in order to drive maximum penetration/profit.
- Represent Zurich in a professional manner at all times.
- Identify and deliver appropriate marketing, sales campaigns and initiatives across broker panel.
- Delivery of distribution strategy objectives.
- Achieve minimum required standard for completion of all essential business tools especially updating pipeline opportunities via Salesforce.
- Make contact with all brokers on panel to educate and push new initiatives.
- Implement the Zurich distribution strategy and objectives through all allocated brokers.
- Gaining and feeding back market intelligence/activity.
- Carry out presentations and sales training for new product launches.
What are we looking for?
- ACII or progress towards.
- Good knowledge of sales processes within relevant market.
- Good product and technical knowledge.
- Strong understand the sales protocols and governance required.
- Deep understanding of UKGI market and market dynamics.
- Excellent relationship building skills with high level customers and or brokers.
- Ability to work in a team/team player.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Account, campaign and people management skills.
