As an International Program Manager, we need you to build and foster long term, profitable relationships with our customers. (You’ll have your own individual portfolio of customers.) This will include some of our largest Relationship customers; some are well established with Zurich whilst others will need developing but key to all of them, will be your ability to enhance & embed strong relationships with them and our brokers.

 

This role isn’t all about sales but is about helping to identify opportunities and knowing what will benefit your customers by offering the best solutions available. Our International Program Manager roles are market facing, so you’ll be the “go to” individual for your portfolio of customers & brokers, when it comes to their International Program.

Key Responsibilities: What you’ll be doing (and not a bullet point in sight!) 

 

We provide strategic services so it’s important that you can join the dots and see the bigger picture. In this way, we can really develop a deep understanding of our Customer & Broker needs & build & maintain strong working relationships to embed both with Zurich.  

 

As an integral part of the Customer team, you’ll lead individuals from across CI UK & across the wider Zurich global network, with the aim of successful & efficient delivery of our international programs around the globe for our Relationship customers.

 

We’ve talked about our customer obsession - as an International Program Manager we need you to establish & lead structure around expectations, timelines & delivery dates. You’ll be able to readily spot and support new business/Cross sell opportunities to promote our proposition & help bring this to life for new/existing customers. 

You’ll be collaborating with Customer Relationship Managers & Underwriting to design insurance programs & our service proposition in conjunction with customer, broker & any internal Zurich partners. No two days will ever be the same and you’ll be showcasing your suite of communication & project management skills.  

 

What are we looking for?  

 

This is a market facing role so customer and broker experience is essential. You will be working alongside Global Relationship Leaders, Customer Relationship Managers and Underwriting to create robust, efficient, compliant, and sustainable international programmes.

 

 You’ll be a natural when it comes to planning and prioritising and will naturally want to lead and implement change, including hosting customer and broker meetings. Leading the internal Zurich Customer team to implement service programmes to agreed standards, including oversight of international network management. 

 

The role does have some technical aspects to it, so knowledge & experience of Zurich’s International (IPZ) proposition, our global network, service capabilities & principles of GPS, are important elements of the role. We work in a fast paced, agile environment, so this is key to ensure we meet Customer’s service delivery needs whilst ensuring regulatory and compliance rules are met.  

 

Knowing what Zurich’s Underwriting capabilities are, would also be good as it will help you to develop your knowledge of practices, tools & techniques to attract, retain & service customers.
