Business Analyst & Partnership Coordinator (Part-Time, Job-Share, Full-Time)

The opportunity:

Our Customer Management team within our Commercial Insurance business is market leading when it comes to managing Customer Relationships, and as a result, we are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team on a permanent. In this market facing role, you’ll directly support the Head of Customer Management teams and Senior Leadership to shape and deliver the data-driven insight strategy to enable Zurich to understand and manage its Customers across the UK business, working closely with the Head of Customer Management you will also coordinate our events and engagement with our key partnerships like Airmic and our external comms engagement. We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to use their skills and business acumen to identify trends and deliver insight, to both internal and external stakeholders across the Customer, Distribution and Underwriting teams.
In this market facing role, you’ll have the opportunity to make an immediate impact on the business. Using analytical skills to deliver insights, and assess opportunities within our Commercial Insurance portfolio, you will contribute to the profitable growth within Zurich. The role will include helping present findings to brokers and customers, and to support on team projects.

However we would expect the successful applicant to be in the London office at least three (3) times per week.
What will you be doing?
- Contribute to the delivery of our Commercial Insurance targets through defining, creating and delivering reports, insights and findings to enhance the management of our Customers to internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrate increasing knowledge of analytical techniques alongside commercial insurance knowledge to be able to provide regular insight and analysis from large datasets
- Demonstrate increasing knowledge of market developments, distribution channels and our competitive position with our Customers and Brokers
- Support the Head of Customer Management by co-ordinating our key partnerships, such as AIRMIC and our Customer Advisory Board to ensure that we deliver value to our customers and the business.
- Build, develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to a positive, diverse and supportive team culture.
- We are a market facing team, so you would be expected to be in the London office at least 3 days per week.
What are we looking for?
- Strong numerical ability and data manipulation skills.
- Strong commercial skills with the confidence to present externally when required.
- Experience in applying analytical techniques to data sets to gain insight into trends and form recommendations
- Experience with data analytics is not a pre-requisite but would be advantageous, but if you have the energy and commitment to learn, we can support and train you in these!
- Demonstrate a strong desire for learning and self-development.
- Strong communication skills.
