The opportunity

 

This is an exciting opportunity to work within our Property Practice in Risk Engineering as the Strategic Proposition Lead. The role of the Strategic Proposition Lead is to create strategic, sustainable growth in bespoke customer propositions. In addition to growing external revenue the successful candidate will effectively lead, inspire and coach a team of technical Proposition Lead engineers and work with the Strategic Operational Lead to ensure processes are efficient and future fit. A key priority for the role is to coach the team so that they can reach their full potential, making sure the team and the Practice is a great place to work by motivating, enthusing and nurturing.

Key Responsibilities:  

  

  • Leadership of the team, creating strong engagement and a collaborative and supportive culture, whilst delivering a high quality service. 
  • Create an environment where team members can achieve their full potential, through continuous development, with support, coaching and motivation. 
  • Co-ordinate and monitor the development of strategic propositions that align with our customer needs and growth aspirations  
  • Develop and implement a UK and Global deployment strategy that delivers the growth requirements, maintains and improves service 
  • Implement a people management strategy that includes how we will manage and develop our teams to deliver our long term goals. 
  • Create and enhance systems, processes and procedures to translate business plans into action  
  • Develop and engage strong relationships with key internal stakeholders   
  • Achieve maximum efficiency including the introduction and acceleration of AI and/or automation. 
  • Build and promote Zurich’s reputation as the go-to technical expert in the market. 
  • Leverage cross-functional relationships to deliver strategic growth, UK & Global. 

  

Your skills and experience: 

  

  • Experience in the development of customer proposals, business growth plans and project management  
  • Ability to analyse data relating to revenue, advance O365 skills such as excel and power bi would be advantages. 
  • Ability to develop and implement long term strategic plans. 
  • Influences business decisions through exemplary communication and negotiation. 
  • Able, enjoys and promotes working autonomously. 
  • Ability to successfully liaise with senior managers throughout the organisation.
