Claims Officer

                                                                                 Claims Officer (m/w/d)

Your role

  • Ensure accurate administration of new and ongoing claims
  • Evaluate documents submitted and determines if all requirements have been received  
  • Handle incoming requests from customers and provides information regarding claim requirements, timely and in professional manner
  • Manage and maintain good working relationships with existing brokers/customers
  • Work closely with Customer Service, Market Management, Compliance and Finance team members within customer deadlines and service level agreements
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of the relevant processes, and proactively contribute with new ideas to support the improvement of the overall customer experience
  • Ensure that regulatory and compliance standards of administration processes are met
  • Ensure personal responsibility for Anti Money Laundering (AML) guidelines are successfully completed

Your skills and experience

  • Work Experience within the insurance or finance industry
  • Fluent language skills in English, German. Any other language will be considered as an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Computer literate, including knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (e.g. MS Word and MS Excel)
  • Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to work accurately and to deadlines
  • Constructive approach to dealing with internal and external customers
