The company

Zurich Bank was established in 2021 following a consolidated and long-lasting collaboration between Zurich Group and Deutsche Bank. This was made possible by their respective expertise in the insurance and financial fields. In August 2021, Zurich acquired the network of DBFA financial advisors, which have played a leading role in the Italian financial market since 1986 as a point of reference for every investment need of the Client. In July 2022, Zurich Bank obtained the banking license from the European Central Bank and started its activity in October 2022.

Your role

We are looking for a Business Process Auditor to join our Team in Milan. In this role, you will be responsible for providing insights to the business through the execution of audit assignments. Supported by the Head of Audit and in close cooperation with other assigned auditors, you will develop an understanding of the business and its risks, co-develop audit approaches and report audit outcomes. You will have the possibility to interact directly with the Senior Management, demonstrate your competence and expand your knowledge in a lean and challenging organization. As Business Process Auditor your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Developing own knowledge and business awareness and build valuable business relationships
  • Keeping the business safe by delivering relevant audits, working together with the Head of Audit and other assigned auditors in determining the audit scope, risks to be addressed and most appropriate audit techniques (including data analytics)
  • Taking ownership of your audit work, apply your professional judgement, documenting and reporting results in line with Group Audit standards and methodologies
  • Influencing the business by agreeing corrective actions and delivering the final audit report
  • Contributing to the Group Audit global team through sharing own technical knowledge and engaging in our continuous training program. 

 

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably in Business Administration or Engineering
  • 5+ years of proven experience in Audit / Compliance Functions of banks specialised in providing investment services through a network of financial advisors
  • Demonstrated competence in investment service processes and deep knowledge of the implications brought by applicable regulations (i.e. MiFID, Transparency, AML, etc…)
  • Knowledge of Internal Audit Standards, internal control frameworks and audit testing techniques
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders of all seniority levels and build valuable business relationships
  • Excellent project management skills, ability to organize own tasks and deliver on time ensuring high quality standards
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing tasks
  • Good verbal and written communication English skills
  • Experience in applying data analytics techniques
  • Strong attitude to work in team with ability to work independently, when necessary
  • Passion and enthusiasm to continue to grow yourself and others around you
  • International Certification (i.e. CIA, CISA) will be a plus
