International Service Specialist - Large Property



Zurich North America is currently looking for an International Service Specialist- Large Property for our IPZ Servicing Team.  Zurich is open to hiring talent in one of the following office locations: New York-WTC, Boston, Philadelphia, and Parsippany, NJ.


As a member of Zurich's IPZ Servicing Team you will enjoy the opportunity to fully apply and hone your communication and organizational skills. Specifically, you will consult with brokers, our network and your team members. In this role, you will manage the International Program servicing on international accounts, including program implementation, customer service, service proposition and the resolution of service issues as they arise. 


In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the International Program implementation according to specific deadlines and serve as the point of contact for our brokers and internal stakeholders
  • Provide input into the development of customer specific, value added services for existing and new customers
  • Act as an account representative by responding to customer service issues and coordinating with the appropriate business partner for resolution (i.e. brokers, underwriters, our network, etc)
  • For new and existing customers, assist underwriting in documenting the service proposition including agreed service deliverables, standards & country specific requirements
  • Deliverable and problem solving issues may relate to the international aspects of services related to local policy issuance, regulatory requirements, reporting, risk engineering coordination, premium payment processes, claims flow issues, and money/currency movement
  • Handle specific requests from Underwriting by reviewing service plan requests, determining feasibility of requests and implementing customer-focused service solutions. This may involve contact with prospects and/or customers to resolve routine problems.
  • Coordinate data entry submitted to a third party vendor or robotics and perform quality checks on the entry before information is sent to the network
  • Prepare service presentations as required


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Service Delivery area 
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the Service Delivery area  


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of insurance products Property/Casualty and services, international business
  • Knowledge of the business environment, finance, economics and reinsurance
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong analytical and planning skills
  • Ability to effectively manage changing priorities
  • Ability to build networking skills

The salary range for this role is $68,300 - $85,400.  This is the range Zurich NA in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of the posting.  Zurich NA may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City.  This range may be modified in the future.  This job is also bonus eligible. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
