What is the opportunity?
Zurich Cover-More is looking for a Solution Architect to join our Integration Management Office (IMO) and lead the technology integration of AIG’s Travel Guard acquisition into the Zurich Cover-More environment. This is a rare opportunity to be at the center of a fast-moving, high-impact initiative within a global insurance leader. What will you be doing?
- Lead a highly complex integration that requires innovative thinking—not just a standard migration, but a creative solution to bridge legacy tech with a modern vision.
- Lead the technology integration & transformation for the Travel Guard acquisition, ensuring seamless execution across platforms, data, and infrastructure.
- Serve as the bridge between business and IT, translating strategic objectives into technical requirements and actionable plans.
- Architect scalable, future-proof solutions, navigating significant legacy tech debt while designing a new hybrid approach.
- Oversee data migration, platform integration, and cloud strategy, ensuring performance, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to drive alignment and decision-making.
- Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring seamless execution within budget and timeline.
- Solve complex architectural challenges, balancing immediate integration needs with long-term scalability.
What are we looking for?
- 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture with a track record of driving large-scale, complex integrations.
- Strong technical expertise in cloud technologies, transactional processing, data warehousing, ETL, and master data management (MDM).
- Proven ability to execute, not just design—this is a role for a “doing” architect, not just a strategist.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills—able to navigate different environments, translate business needs into technical solutions, and communicate effectively across teams.
- Enterprise-scale experience in a global or highly matrixed organization, with the ability to work across time zones.
- Insurance industry experience is a plus (personal lines preferred), but not mandatory.
- Passion for problem-solving and innovation, with the ability to think beyond traditional IT integration models and thrive in both technical deep dives and high-level strategic conversations.
- Proven ability to influence without authority, driving decisions across multiple teams and stakeholders.
