Zurich Cover-More is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Technology Integration Management Office (IMO) Lead to join our team at Zurich Cover-More. This position will be based in our New York Office and report to the Transformation Director, Zurich Cover-More.
The Technology IMO Lead will play a critical role in the successful integration of technology assets following a recent acquisition. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in managing complex technology integrations, ensuring seamless operations in a transformation context.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An understanding of typical technology hardware and application ecosystems
- A proven track record of leading technology or integration projects in a complex environment
- An ability to engage senior leaders to facilitate decision-making.
Responsibilities include:
- Integration strategy development and execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive technology integration strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives, timelines, and budget.
- Perform selected project management tasks: Including identifying interdependencies, communicating project requirements, tracking progress, making decisions, identifying and mitigating risks, and resolving conflicts and issues, to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Oversee technology transition services agreement exits: Manage effort to develop detailed separation and integration plans to transition IT requirements currently supported through transition service agreements, then oversee execution.
- Systems integration and data migration efforts: Lead team of program/project managers, business analysts, solution architects, and subject matter experts located throughout the greater Zurich IT organization to develop technology solutions which meet business needs, including for integration of software, hardware, and network systems, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance. Plan and execute data migration activities, ensuring data integrity, security, and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with regional and cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, finance, and HR, to ensure alignment and smooth integration.
- Managing up: Coordinate with senior leaders across the organization on IT priorities and solutioning, driving solutioning and discussions.
- Vendor management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers involved in the integration process.
- Change management: Develop and implement change management plans to support the transition, including training and communication strategies.
- Performance monitoring: Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor the success of the technology components of the integration and make data-driven decisions to address any issues.
- Risk management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the integration stays on track and within budget.

- Bachelor’s degree and 10 or more years of experience in the Information Technology, Project Management and/or Business Operations area
AND - Leadership experience in a technology function
- Experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment and managing the complexities of a post-close acquisition governance structure
- Project management experience
- People management experience
VP
Required experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and 12 or more years of experience in the Information Technology, Project Management and/or Business Operations area
- AND
- Leadership experience in a technology function
- Experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment and managing the complexities of a post-close acquisition governance structure
- Project management experience
- People management experience
Preferred experience:
- Insurance industry experience
- Subject matter expertise to address advanced, high-level technology questions and issues
- Familiarity with technology infrastructure and application ecosystems at the enterprise level and in a direct-to-consumer context
- In-depth project management and consulting experience
- Expertise in progress reporting methods and techniques of performance metrics/measures and budget analysis
- Experience in a post-merger environment exiting transition services agreements.
At Zurich, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Additional rewards may encompass short-term incentive bonuses and merit increases. We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply, as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education. The salary indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The combined salary range for this position is $149,500-$281,700. The proposed starting salary range for the VP II position is $149,500-$244,900 with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 25%. The salary range for the VP position is $172,000-$281,700 with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 35%.
