Chief Information Officer

As the CIO, you will have a key strategic leadership role, responsible for the design and effective implementation of IT strategies and transformation of IT delivery model across our General Insurance and Life & Investment businesses in Australia and New Zealand, as well as building the talent within the IT team.



You have a wide range of responsibilities:


•    Setting the long-term technology strategy and vision for IT,  
•    End to end responsibility for the delivery of whole of country Information Technology strategy, projects, applications maintenance, and enhancements.
•    Providing expertise and support to a major integration project
•    Development and implementation of the IT applications strategy & roadmap, aligned with business strategy.
•    Establish and maintain value-based stakeholder and strategic supplier relationships that meet business requirements



We’d love to hear from candidates who are degree qualified and have extensive experience within IT Senior management role. You will be bringing a track record of leading business transformational projects and familiarity of working in a matrix environment.



You’ll also have strong communications skills along with excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to proactively engage with Executives and Senior Management, with broad understanding of IT application areas – project management, architecture, business analysis, design, development, testing, vendor management, production support. etc.
