The Opportunity

 

Join Zurich’s Information Technology team as a Senior Business Analyst and help us innovate our General Insurance arena.

The Role

 

In this diverse role, you will help drive the implementation and ongoing support of business solution projects and changes with Zurich’s General Insurance division.

 

You will perform business requirements analysis and develop business requirements documents in conjunction with stakeholders. The role will see you facilitate requirements gathering workshops, perform analysis to develop functional specifications, and work closely with Solutions Designers, Systems Integration, User Acceptance Test Analysts and Test Planners to ensure business requirements are delivered successfully. As a vital member of the team, you will also be involved in mentoring and supporting your colleagues.

Your Experience

 

You are adept in your ability to analyse business requirements across a multitude of Insurance platforms. You thrive in a fast paced, agile environment and strive to deliver high quality solutions.

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

 

  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in the General Insurance industry
  • Knowledge of the claims lifecycle and financials
  • Excellent analytical skills using multiple techniques
  • The ability to plan and facilitate workshops
  • Experience using Guidewire and mainframe exposure
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Agile business analysis skills and delivery methodologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
