The Strategic Execution Lead role is within the portfolio of the Chief of Technology & Strategy which includes: Technology (IT), Sustainability, Agile & Continuous Improvement and Strategy & Strategic Execution.

  

Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy and Strategic Execution, in this role you’ll play a pivotal part in driving our organisation’s success by ensuring effective execution of our strategic planning and execution processes. Your focus will be on strategic thinking, change management, continuous improvement, and fostering collaboration. 

 

We’re seeking an individual who combines strategic acumen with pragmatism—a visionary who understands the end goal and can help guide our business on this transformative journey while also diving into the details. You are collaborative in your approach and able to work with all levels and across the organisation—leaders, Agile coaches, and other teams. 

 

A key part of your role will involve collaborating closely with the Strategy team. Together, you’ll create clarity for the entire organisation through the ongoing refinement of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). Additionally, you’ll leverage our quarterly and annual planning and review processes to ensure alignment with these objectives, through tracking and monitoring of outcomes. This transparency empowers leaders and reinforces our strategic priorities. 

 

You will also collaborate closely with the Agile and Continuous Improvement Practice, working together to uplift capability and drive change in quarterly planning and execution processes via Value Driven Delivery across the organisation. Important to your success - let's grow together   

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field  
  • Agile certifications (e.g. SAFe, Scrum, LeSS, etc) and experience with portfolio management tools are a plus.
  • Extensive strategic thinking and planning skills, ability to articulate problem statements clearly and concisely and align portfolios and initiatives with business objectives.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including experience with scaled agile frameworks, lean portfolio management and OKR implementation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating portfolio performance and OKR progress. Ability to analyse data, identify patterns and draw insights.
  • Experience in using industry recognised portfolio tracking, reporting and visualisation tools 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and concepts effectively. Is collaborative and can influence and inspire others.
