The opportunity: ACTUARIAL SPECIALIST
Your skills and experience:
The actuary will work in the reporting area for the group, focusing on IFRS 17.
Review of conciliation processes, instruction of teams and proposals for improvements.
Review and advise on actuarial studies of claims for life and/or basic lines, determining the total value of losses to assess the performance of portfolios and composition of actuarial technical reserves;
Ensure that studies and processes are properly in accordance with the standards and other compliance rules established by the Zurich group;
Provide actuarial technical support for direct and indirect management; Prepare presentation reports and dissemination of results;
Prepare specific reports to report to the group and region, such as the elaboration of payment standards, LAT, P&R Risk and others;
Contribute to the development of regional projects;
Lead IFRS 17 project (in implementation phase), evaluating requirements and proposing improvements.
Actively act (in the execution or monitoring of actions) to solve information and/or process problems identified in other areas;
Work together with the claims and underwriters areas to understand changes in the portfolio mix or different actions and their impacts.
Academic background in Actuarial Science or Statistics (preferably with MIBA).
Advanced English.
Experience in actuarial studies and projects (reserves and/or pricing).
Have acted as a team manager.
Advanced knowledge in MS Office and SAS.
