The opportunity: PROJECT DIRECTOR
The Head of the ZCAM LATAM hub will oversee the newly established ZCAM LATAM hub, leading a technical team to ensure projects in the LATAM region are delivered on time, within budget, and within scope. The selected, hands-on, candidate will collaborate directly with the Europe-based leadership team, regional business units and senior stakeholders to ensure successful internal project acquisition and delivery.
Responsibilities
- In collaboration with ZCAM’s leadership team, ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and within budget
- Coordinate and lead the internal resources to ensure the flawless execution of projects
- Actively engage in project tasks and problem-solving alongside the team
- Evaluate our customer’s unique project needs, develop project scopes and objectives by involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
- Drive engagement across the LATAM region
Requirements
- University degree in business, IT, insurance or a related field
- Professional experience in insurance, the financial service or fin-tech industry
- Proven track record of successfully planning and delivering technical projects from start to finish, coupled with strong business knowledge
- Preferred experience as a Business Analyst, including expertise in gathering business requirements and overseeing end-to-end development, including testing
- Experience in people leadership, strategic planning, risk management and change management
- Outstanding organizational and proactive problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong proficiency in English and Portuguese is a must, proficiency in Spanish is preferred
- Proven track with project management and software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, SCRUM, ITIL, PMP)
- Scrum Master certification or similar certification (e.g. PMP, PROSCI) are highly desirable
- Motivational, resilient and customer-oriented team player with strong communication skills
