Enterprise Data Specialist


Zurich is currently searching for an Enterprise Data Specialist to work within our Information Technology Services corporate enterprise Application and Development unit out of our North American Headquarters in Schaumburg, IL.


As a key member of the Enterprise Integration & Data Management team, the Specialist will be responsible in understanding data integrity and requirements and in leveraging the value of the data assets throughout the organization.  The Enterprise Data Specialist will have experience with SAP where time will be split between financial projects and the day to day activities within the financial platforms.  The Specialist will also facilitate the development/implementation of the desired end-state data environment and will be responsible for improving the organization's decision-making capabilities by providing high quality, transparent data and will work with the business leaders to establish Enterprise-wide accountability for data, link business objectives with data needs, and identify/measure/close data quality gaps.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Data Management area
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Data Management area
  • Experienced in data interrogation, data profiling or data modeling


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced SAP or accounting application experience
  • Data management analysis experience
  • Azure or AWS Cloud experience or familiarity
  • Ability to work independently and interact effectively as part of a team and within a team environment
  • Microsoft Office and Office365 experience
  • Insurance industry experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
