Information Security Procurement Specialist


Zurich North America is currently hiring a InfoSec Procurement Specialist and this person will work out of our Schaumburg, IL North America Headquarters.  This person will report to the Global InfoSec Procurement Manager.


This person will work with IT information security leadership and other internal groups on contract negotiation and procurement of IT information security software and technology within the company.  The Procurement Specialist will review contracts (pricing and wording in the contracts) and budgeting with internal stakeholders and other groups such as legal and data privacy. 


Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelors Degree and 3 or more years of experience in the Procurement area OR
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the Procurement area AND
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience with spend reporting and analyzing trends
  • Commercial, contract and category management experience


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to accurately tabulate data
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good knowledge and experience of SaaS/Cloud Software and related professional services
  • Vendor management experience
  • Contract negotiation experience
  • Advance Microsoft skills
