Premium Audit Associate or Premium Audit Auditor I
Zurich is currently hiring a Premium Audit Associate or Premium Audit Auditor I to join their Construction Wrap Up Enrolled Subcontractor audit team. We are currently open to hiring talent in the following location: Schaumburg, IL.
This is a hybrid work position, however, the candidate selected for this opportunity will be required to report into the following North American office location twice a week: Schaumburg, IL.
As a Premium Audit Associate, your role is critical to providing clarification and insight to premiums paid and due, which directly affect the underwriting results of a company. You will perform examination of policyholder´s accounting and financial records to ensure accurate calculation of earned premium and that audited exposures are accurately calculated for low to medium complex risks. In this role, you will start off auditing enrolled subcontractor workers compensation policies in the Construction industry and will grow to handle low to medium accounts in all industries for both workers compensation, liability, and business auto.

Based on your talent and experience you bring to the table, we are open to hiring at the Premium Audit Auditor I or Premium Audit Associate level.
This role will be filled at either the Premium Audit Auditor I or Premium Audit Associate level. The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant’s experience and skill set relative to the qualifications listed for this position.
Premium Audit Audtior I Basic Qualification:
- Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Accounting and Financial Auditing area
OR - High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the Accounting and Financial Auditing area
OR - Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Accounting and Financial Auditing area
OR
Premium Audit Associate Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the Accounting, Finance, or Insurance
OR - Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Insurance Industry Experience
- Microsoft Office Suite Experience
- Premium Audit Knowledge
- Workers compensation, general liability, auto, inland marine, garage liability auditing experience
- Knowledge of NCCI Workers Compensation and ISO General Liability rules, manuals and industry practices
- Experience collaborating in a team environment
