Strategy & Business Execution Specialist

Zurich is seeking a Strategy & Business Execution Specialist to work out of our North American Headquarters in Schaumburg, IL. While this position will be based out of our Headquarters in Schaumburg, IL, you will have the flexibility to work both in the office and remotely. You will partner with your manager to set a flexible work schedule that supports you, our customers, and our brokers and agents. This role will require you to be visible in the marketplace to meet with our agents and brokers and be in the office one day a week for a team collaboration day.
 

As the strategic specialist within the Strategy and Business Execution team you will support proactive identification of opportunities and establishment of action plans to improve business outcomes, lead cross-functional efforts in support of achieving strategic priorities and support the leadership in developing long-term business, financial and operational plans.
 

Responsibilities of a Strategy and Business Execution Analyst include:
 

  • Monitors / reviews business and/or Center of Expertise progress relative to operational plans.
  • Assists in valuation and measurement of key projects/initiatives.
  • Identifies possible issues/opportunities and assists in developing / scoping solutions.
  • Proposes potential new initiatives or areas for improvement.
  • Gathers market information for reporting purposes and disseminates the information to internal audiences.
  • Assists in valuation / measurements of key projects to ensure projects are delivered according to schedule and within budget.
  • Gathers market information, analyzes key themes and trends and makes recommendations to inform policy within their area of expertise.
  • Identifies possible issues / opportunities and assists in developing/ scoping solutions for these opportunities to support the achievement of business objectives.
  • Presents results to management outside the Strategic Execution group.

 

Required Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Strategic and Operational Consulting area

 

Preferred:
 

  • Master's Degree
  • Project Management Experience
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Analytical Skills
  • Insurance, financial services or banking knowledge
