Workforce Productivity Lead

Zurich North America is currently hiring an End-to-End Workforce Productivity Lead to support the rollout and ongoing management of ZNA’s newly deployed workforce productivity tool. This person will have an opportunity to specialize in select areas that are critical to the rollout and adoption of the tool including data & insights, IT & ops, change management, communications, etc. This person will work a hybrid schedule at our Schaumburg North America HQ, will report to the Productivity Team Leader, and be part of the newly created Productivity Center of Excellence (CoE).
 

Responsibilities:
•    Support CoE in managing deployment activities to enable the smooth rollout of the productivity tool.
•    Develop and execute communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged during and after the rollout.
•    Provide ongoing assistance and resources to users to ensure effective utilization of the productivity tool.
•    Conduct market research to compare ZNA productivity trends against external benchmarks to generate competitive insights and drive strategic decisions.
•    Develop a comprehensive understanding of business unit operations and challenges to effectively tailor productivity initiatives.
•    Analyze data from the productivity tool to generate actionable insights that inform strategic decisions across various departments.
•    Identify and analyze opportunities across business units to enhance workforce productivity and operational efficiency.
•    Develop strategic roadmaps and comprehensive plans to guide teams in effectively building and executing productivity initiatives.
•    Provide data-driven recommendations based on tool insights, and present to senior leadership to enhance business strategies.
•    Provide strategic advice to business units on optimizing productivity tools and processes.
•    Collect feedback from business units to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
•    Develop and deliver training programs and communication plans to support productivity initiatives.
•    Engage with senior leaders to communicate progress, insights, and recommendations.
•    Liaise with other functional units (HR, IT/Ops, Change Management, etc.) to review and finalize communication and training pieces.

 

Basic Qualifications:
•    Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in productivity management, insurance ops, process improvement, or a related field
•    Bachelor’s degree (preferred: Master’s degree) in Business Administration, Management, or related discipline
•    Proven experience in leading productivity enhancement initiatives

•    Strong communications and executive engagement skills
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Strategic thinking capabilities
•    Experience in insurance operations and / or knowledge of the P&C insurance market
•    Experience in managing complex projects with competing priorities
•    Ability to work cross-functionally across the enterprise
•    Collaborative and able to work effectively with diverse teams
•    Delivers actionable results and supports initiative execution
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint)
•    Previous experience with productivity tracking software such as ActivTrak
