Workforce Productivity Team Leader
Zurich North America is currently hiring a Workforce Productivity Team Leader – to lead a team of End-to-End Productivity Leads as part of the newly established Productivity Center of Excellence (CoE). This person will work a hybrid schedule at our Schaumburg North America HQ.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of ‘end-to-end productivity leads’ as part of a productivity CoE.
• Oversee the daily operations of the CoE team, ensuring alignment with ZNA's strategic objectives and leveraging workforce productivity tool insights to guide the team.
• Develop and execute strategic plans that utilize productivity tool data to drive business growth and operational efficiency within ZNA’s business units.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, such as HR, Comms, IT/Ops, etc. to drive productivity initiatives that are identified by the CoE.
• Lead change management efforts, ensuring successful adoption of new productivity tool processes and initiatives.
• Utilize productivity tool analytics to track and assess team performance, providing feedback and coaching to ensure continuous improvement in alignment with CoE objectives.
• Maintain clear and effective communication within the CoE team and other business units, ensuring updates from the productivity tool are shared and understood.
• Engage with senior leaders to communicate progress, insights, and recommendations.
• Review external productivity trends against external benchmarks to generate competitive insights and drive strategic decisions.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in productivity management, process improvement, insurance ops, or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred: Master’s degree) in Business Administration, Management, or related discipline
• Proven experience in leading productivity enhancement initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience leading and managing a diverse team
• Strong communications and executive engagement skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strategic thinking capabilities
• Experience in insurance operations and / or knowledge of the P&C insurance market
• Experience in managing complex projects with competing priorities
• Ability to work cross-functionally across the enterprise
• Collaborative and able to work effectively with diverse teams
• Proactive in identifying and addressing productivity challenges
• Problem-solving first approach
• Delivers actionable results and supports initiative execution
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint)
• Previous experience with productivity tracking software such as ActivTrak
