Head of Application Development and Maintenance

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the delivery of whole of China ADM team's strategy, projects, application maintenance & enhancement, which includes:

1)  All IT applications to ensure achievement of strategic targets and adherence to governance and compliance. 

2)  Accountable for the delivery of key strategic projects. 

3)  IT operational excellence (process improvement, automation, new technology and innovation, etc) across the whole business. 

4)  Program / Project management and project portfolio management across business. 

2. Work closely with business stakeholders in identifying leading edge technologies which can contribute toward Zurich's market differentiation in products & services. 

3. Overall responsibility for data management. Lead the EAST reporting program. 

4. Contribute the development of business strategy. Enabling business opportunities with appropriate IT ADM solutions

5. Development and implementation of the IT applications strategy & roadmap, aligned with business strategy.

6. Ensure IT projects are delivered on time, to budget and quality. Actively engage with business stakeholder and delivery teams.

7. Responsible for internal controls and risk management of IT ADM. 

8. Overall responsibility for team development and engagement. Attract, develop and motivate employee to build a positive culture and for the sustained delivery of the function´s current and planned responsibilities.

9. Lead and implement complex projects locally, involving multi-disciplinary teams and varying timescales.

10, Manage relationships with local and regional executives, key business partners, and external service providers.

11. Responsible for IT ADM expense planning and expense management. 

12. Ensure that the organization system, processes, policies and programs respond to internal & external customer needs. 

Job Requirement:

1. Undergraduate Degree with major in IT related. 

2. Experience within Insurance Industry with 10+ years working experience, and at least 5 years at a senior management level. 

3. Extensive past experience in IT applications projects. 

4. Strong stakeholder and people manager with proven capability. 

5. PMP or related project management certification preferred.
