Job Title : Claims Assistant
Location: Singapore
The Opportunity :
We are seeking a customer-centric and positive individual to join our expanding team and enhance our market-leading Zurich Claims proposition. This role involves providing high-quality administrative and claims management support to our growing claims department, including handling Express claims as directed by senior case managers or functional managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct customer inquiries or claims to appropriate personnel or handle them personally.
- Manage accounts payments, new claims registration, and data cleansing activities.
- Ensure accurate data management as per Zurich claims guidelines and Global Claims Policy.
- Participate in team meetings, projects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with claim management, including follow-ups, diary system management, and professional communication with key customers, brokers, and partners.
- Maintain a diary system to ensure adherence to time frames.
- Perform basic administrative duties: word-processing, photocopying, filing, and archiving claims files as needed.
- Handle FNOL Centre tasks: acknowledging FNOLs, segment, assign claims, and manage Express claims as directed.
- Comply with recommendations from claims audits/reviews and apply a consistent claims approach in line with team procedures.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated strong work ethic with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize key tasks effectively.
- Fresh graduates with a degree or insurance diploma are welcome; candidates with 'A' levels or a good GCE 'O' level and relevant work experience will also be considered.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong numeracy skills.
- Prior experience with AS400 is advantageous.
- Essential: Singapore working experience (for PR candidates).
- Team-oriented with a strong desire to develop skills in managing insurance claims and the potential to advance in claims handling.
