Job Title: Claims Executive, PET Claims

Location: Singapore

The Opportunity:

Resolve claims at assigned authority levels for commercial claim reflecting degree of technical competency, in the most effective and efficient way while delivering a customer-centric claims service. We would be looking for someone with experience in property lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update claims files by accurately capturing and updating claims data/information in compliance with best practices for commercial claim assignments.
• Use judgment to determine policy verification and coverage determination by analyzing applicable coverage for claims and determining whether the loss falls within the coverage.
• Establish timely reserves (PUC/sensitivities) and perform ongoing review throughout claims cycle within authority limit by estimating and validating value of claims
• Negotiate settlement of claim by establishing appropriate negotiation strategy and utilizing available tools and resources within authority limits.
• Builds rapport and maintains effective relationship with all business partners to improve internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Ensure legal compliance by following regulations and internal control requirements.
• Handling Produced/Received Claims in accordance with the Claims Protocols.
• Managing/calculating recoveries from IP accounts and external reinsurers.
• Support the execution of business planning and transformation within the team.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Bachelors Degree (preferably)
• 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial lines claims
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Organization and multi-tasking skills
