The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. The HR Intern will support various administrative tasks, including data entry, reporting, and system management. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates looking to gain practical experience in HR operations and develop their skills in a professional environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Data Entry:

  • Accurately enter employee information, new joiners, leavers, and changes into the HR management system (GEMS).
  • Maintain and update employee records to ensure data integrity and compliance.

Reporting:

  • Assist in generating monthly HR reports, including new joiners, leavers, and other HR metrics.
  • Compile data for various HR initiatives and present findings to the HR team.

System Support:

  • Help maintain and troubleshoot HR systems and tools, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning properly.
  • Assist in the implementation of new HR software or updates to existing systems.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Support the HR team with invoices payment, filing, document management, and organization of HR materials.
  • Assist with scheduling interviews and coordinating onboarding activities for new employees.

Communication:

  • Respond to inquiries from employees regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the HR team in preparing communication materials for employee engagement initiatives.

Additional Projects:

  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned, providing support in research, data collection, and analysis.

 

Qualifications

Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/ degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

 

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience: Previous internship or experience in an administrative role is a plus but not required.
