IT Service Lead (6 months Contract)

Purpose:

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our IT team in Singapore. 

Reporting to the IT Manager and leading our highly dedicated and experienced IT service team, you will help make the difference and contribute to the successful delivery of IT services and employee experience, to internal Zurich staff and partners.

You will collaborate with our Business Stakeholders, Risk Manager, and BISO to safeguard our compliance to Zurich’s IT control, security, business resilience and governance standards.     

You will work closely with our strategic service providers, and regional subject matter experts across workplace Solution, network, data centre and cloud services domains, to delivering infrastructure improvement projects.  

You will also partner with our Workplace Manager to prepare for our upcoming office upgrade project.

Experience and attributes:

  • University graduate in Computer related field
  • At least 5 years working experience in all rounded IT service management and support role
  • Good knowledge of:
    • ITSM, inc ServiceNow, or other ITSM tools
    • Microsoft technology stacks & infrastructure, inc Windows 10, O365, Teams, Exchange, Sharepoint, Onedrive, AD, DHCP, etc.
    • Virtualisation, data centre, cloud and end user computing equipment, inc Citrix, Azure Cloud, Desktop / Laptop environment, mobile device management, etc.
    • Network, inc router, switch, firewall, etc.
  • ITIL, Microsoft, Project Management Certifications is an advantage
  • Hands-on, open minded with can-do attitude, and can work unsupervised
  • Team player, with ability to supervise and coach junior team members
  • Good, analytical, troubleshooting and incident solving skills
  • Excellent documentation and knowledge base skills and experience
  • Team player, with effective communication skills with employees / partners at all levels

Job Accountabilities:

  • Lead team to deliver robust and high quality standard of IT services and technical support, across infrastructure, applications, devices, etc.
  • Provide service performance reporting, and represent the Singapore BU at relevant governance forums
  • Support management of resource and budget
  • Manage local and regional project delivery
  • Safeguard compliance to Zurich and regulator’s standard and requirement, eg to take ownership of control, security, resilience, information / data governance, business continuity, etc. actions
  • Support annual standard definition, control assurance testing, audit, etc. engagements
  • Provide mentoring & coaching to team, and training to end users
  • Back up Incident Co-ordinator
  • Back up in the absence of the IT Manager
