Claims Trainer

Zurich North America is seeking a Trainer to join our Group in North America.

This position is responsible for the development and delivery of training primarily for Express claims adjusters for NAC programs. This includes identification of training needs to enhance performance of our existing staff as well as development and delivery of new hire training and orientation.
Responsibilities include

Consult on and manage training efforts, collaborating with team members at all levels. Create and maintain training processes and procedures.

Determine curriculum and training plans, work with subject matter experts to create appropriate training material and create any necessary documentation or updates to procedures.

Conduct logistical planning for training activities and deliver primary training through agreed upon method (classroom, video, one-on-one, documentation, Teams, etc.).

Provide On-The-Job (OJT) training assisting with mentoring and training.

Conduct employee observations (sit with existing staff, answer questions, etc.) to identify training opportunities to close performance gaps. Maintain all training records and coordinate necessary training to ensure any training gaps are addressed.
Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
2+ years of previous Claims and/or customer service experience within Travel preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of training experience in a business setting preferred but not required.

Previous experience in curriculum design/creation preferred but not required.

Accredited training certificate (ATD) preferred but not required.
