Underwriting Service Specialist within Domestic Insurance to Zurich Nordic

We are now looking for new colleagues to join and strengthen our Underwriting Service Specialist Team within Domestic Insurance, working from our Swedish, hybrid office.

 

Underwriting Service Specialist in Sweden

As a Domestic Underwriting Service Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to handle domestic insurance across various lines of business. This will involve working closely with local domestic businesses to issue and book insurance policies within specified timeframes and ensure high-quality standards are met.

 

You will primarily utilize email and systems to interact with clients and brokers. Additionally, you may be required to attend meetings with brokers and participate in relevant events to stay updated on industry trends and build relationships. In this role, you will also provide support to Underwriters in both pre- and post-bound activities. This may include tasks such as policy review, data entry, and processing endorsements. You will be expected to collaborate with your Underwriting Service Specialists colleagues and offer assistance when needed.

 

Overall, your role as a Domestic Underwriting Service Specialist will involve effectively managing domestic insurance operations, delivering excellent customer service, and providing support to ensure the smooth functioning of the underwriting process.

 

As a person, you demonstrate strategic thinking and are accurate in your work. You have a problem-solving mind-set, are communicative, and show multitasking capabilities. You understand concepts and instructions quickly and are comfortable making own decisions within your own sphere of work but understand when to seek advice. You like to work in a large team were helping and supporting each other is an essential part of the success. You have an international mindset and like to work in an international environment.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a service role with market-facing activities
  • Experience within the insurance market
  • Strong Excel skills with high administrative skills and high digital matureness
  • Interest in continuous improvement of routines and processes
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish

You are comfortable working in multiple systems with both speed and accuracy, ensuring seamless operations and data management. You excel at handling multiple priorities, demonstrating the ability to adapt to change and stay focused under pressure. Your strong interpersonal skills and dedication to excellence enable you to consistently deliver outstanding customer service, fostering positive relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
