This is a hybrid work opportunity.
 

What you will do

 

•    Lead and prepare discussions with business unit leaders for talent discussions, succession planning, year-end alignment, and implementation of talent strategies.
•    Monitor and follow up on succession planning to ensure readiness of talent for future roles.
•    Collaborate with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and HR team members to identify and enhance talent development opportunities.
•    Lead Canada’s Apprentice Program.
•    Host peer manager circles and facilitate focus groups to promote continuous learning and identify engagement trends.
•    Support implementation of engagement survey, trend analysis and actioning of results.
•    Oversee internal and external communication strategies for Talent Management and engagement efforts.
•    Develop and enhance leadership development programs, team-building workshops including providing leadership coaching.
•    Partner with technical trainers to align leadership development programs with business objectives and technical requirements.

What you bring to the table

 

  • Bachelor's Degree with 6 + years of HR experience (HR Generalist, Junior HRBP, or COE role) OR College Diploma with 8+ years of relevant HR experience
  • Proven experience in talent management, learning and development, project management, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to facilitate discussions and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.

 

Preferred qualifications:

 

Certified coach such as the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) certification or equivalent, certification in personality and behavioral profiling tools such as DiSC assessment or equivalent.
