Crop Compliance Analyst

RCIS (Rural Community Insurance Services), a division of Zurich North America, is currently hiring a Crop Compliance Analyst and this person can work at either the Anoka, MN office in a hybrid schedule OR remotely for the right candidate.

 

Accountabilities:

 

  • Drives technical direction and strategic advice in support of crop regulatory compliant profitable growth and change management execution strategies and develops remediation action plans.
  • Provides independent consultative support advice and crop insurance subject matter expertise to business/support unit or product/service leadership and associated product/service teams on simple to moderately complex compliance policies and regulations.
  • Conducts targeted reviews and supports the execution of and development of crop compliance processes to ensure market products and services are regulatory compliant.
  • Supports management efforts to ensure market products and services are crop regulatory compliant.
  • Participates in crop compliance process improvement design for a line of business or business/strategic support unit.
  • Reviews regulatory crop compliance internal controls and produces requested analysis and reports for the Compliance Office and business unit senior management using risk-based tools and reports.
  • Assists business/strategic support unit staff in analyzing impact and requirements of newly enacted crop insurance laws and regulations.

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Financial Services Regulatory Compliance area OR
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the Financial Services Regulatory Compliance area OR
  • Zurich approved Apprenticeship program including an Associate Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Financial Services Regulatory Compliance area AND
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Project Management experience
  • Knowledge of underwriting and/or claims processes
  • Experience working within a legal and regulatory environment
     

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Crop insurance compliance area experience
  • Crop insurance background preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work with multiple stakeholders
