SAP BW - IT Business Analyst, Commercial Insurance, 80%-100%


Our division Commercial Insurance offers risk management services to large corporations and multinational companies. 
As Business Analyst for the Finance Transformation team you will contribute to enhancements and further development of our finance tools as well as process improvements.


What you will do


As Business Analyst SAP BW Finance Developments, you will


  • Provide support and act as key interface between Finance & Controlling and IT

  • Develop changes and further enhancements within our Planning and Reporting Information System built in SAP BW/4HANA platform

  • Ensure that reporting and planning runs smoothly

  • Facilitate gathering of requirements and prepare business cases in close collaboration with Finance & Controlling 

  • Formulate and develop change requests 

  • Propose design and implementation approaches

  • Work location in Zürich in the new Corporate Center at Mythenquai. Part-time remote work can be arranged (subject to manager approval)


What you will bring


  • University degree or equivalent is required 

  • Min. 5 years of extensive experience in process and system implementation projects within a financial reporting and controlling environment, in insurance, reinsurance or corporate business

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP BW / BW/4HANA is essential, with strong Back-end development and Programming skills (ABAP and SQL/SQLScript). Additional SAP ERP (FI-CO) and SAP Integrated Planning / BPC Embedded knowledge would be ideal

  • Excellent spoken and written English is a must, German an advantage

  • Strong team player 

  • Good communication and negotiation skills in a challenging business environment

  • Ability to learn quickly

  • Structured approach to analysis and problem solving

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Flexible and dynamic personality with a desire to develop within a rapidly growing international environment
