Zurich Integrated Benefits Global is the Business pillar within Zurich integrated benefits which offers multinational companies a holistic approach to risk management and financing solutions, maximizing the value of their global employee benefit plans. This is being achieved by offering international programs including cross-border corporate and domestic group life disability, Accident and medical solutions such as Captive insurance, Pooling / Global Profit Sharing, and international programs to multinational companies. The operating model followed is a reinsurance setup between ZIC and 150+ insurance companies (some Zurich affiliated and others external) to maximize the geographical and coverage footprint.
What you will do
As Head of Risk Management you will:

Advising management on regulatory standards/regulations, including risk-related reporting to management, and preparation of risk-related regulatory reports (ZIC Branch Report).

Aid senior management identify, analyse, and mitigate business risks through strategic, tactical and operational risk assessments using the Zurich Group’s risk management framework.

Assisting the Global Head of Zurich Integrated Benefits Global in setting local risk appetite in line Group Risk Appetite.

Ensure that the Zurich Integrated Benefits Global Risk and Control Framework is aligned to Group policies and regulatory requirements.

Provide consistent, reliable and timely delivery of ‘360° view’ risk report for relevant committees and other governance bodies, leading content development and agenda for the Risk Oversight Committee.

Drive risk awareness across Zurich Integrated Benefits Global.
What you bring
-
Extensive experience in risk management within the financial services industry, particularly in operational risk and insurance risk management.

Experience of working with senior leaders and managing stakeholder relationships.

Relevant Academic degree or professional qualification.

Fluent in English; German or any other language will be an asset.
Additional requirements include strong analytical skills, strategic orientation, and excellent relationship management, particularly in cooperating with Group Risk and regional stakeholders. Excellent presentation skills are also essential. The ideal candidate will be well organised, structured, and possess a business-oriented mindset.
