Lead Enterprise Data & Analytics Architect (m/w/d) 80-100%

As a Lead Enterprise Data & Analytics Architect you will be part of the Zürich Switzerland Data & Analytics Organization, work across the total Technology & Transformation Team as well as partner with key Stakeholders on the business.



What you will do

  • Facilitate the establishment and execution of the roadmap and vision for information delivery and management (including the DWH, BI & analytics, advanced analytics, content and data management)
  • Take accountability for the strategic data & insight generation initiative developing the enterprise-wide data, analytics and advanced analytics capabilities, platforms, roadmaps & necessary frameworks.
  • Establishing and leading the data and Integration architecture community with decentralized roles
  • Develop & establish new concepts like Data Mesh and new roles like Data Product Owner
  • Developing and continuous improving of information, data and technology strategy, methodology and governance as essential part of the overall architecture & technology framework.
  • Coordinating the alignment with business strategy, customer excellence initiatives and digital strategy
  • Provide advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to ensure all initiatives are targeting the strategic goals and architectures
  • Foster the use of best practices and state-of-the-art technology components, especially in data integration in a distributed environment.
  • Ensure a strong focus of the architectures on data quality, data governance and data management practices over several roles and stakeholders
  • Investigate and introduce emerging technologies, frameworks, patterns and techniques
  • Collaborate in the design and approval of data acquisition and integration capabilities to assist a broad range of transformations and consumption models
  • Collaborate with the corporate center and other business units to foster alignment and cross-country cooperation.



What you bring


  • University Degree
  • Expert knowledge of Information/Data Architecture, Data Governance, Analytics & Data Management
  • Minimum of 5-8 years professional experience – 2-4 with a proven track record of Enterprise Architecture
  • 3-4 years of proven track record architecting and solutioning Data and analytics platforms leveraging Azure Data Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Kafka, Azure Data Lake etc. Or corresponding solutions and technologies in AWS or Google.
  • Significant experience in strategic thinking with several years of experience in business/IT architecture
  • Proven ability to drive initiatives without any formal authority, developed influencing skills as well as technical knowledge
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at a senior level, high level of facilitation and presentation skills
  • Providing holistic, systemic and competent strategy and thinking approach
  • Strong intellect with the ability to think “out of the box”
  • Strong Team player that has a passion for collaboration
  • With a convincing and persevering personality
  • Fluent in German & English
