M&A Programs Manager

Purpose of this role:

 

The M&A Project Director is responsible for identifying and operationalising M&A activity for small to medium sized activity within the Technology / Digital space with companies that have up to 200 FTE’s and across multiple geographies. The role is to ensure that the overall project or program objectives are clearly defined and then met. These projects and programs are by nature highly complex and characterized by multi-faceted change and pace and have significant business acceleration benefits and impact.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

•    Work with key Technology, Business stakeholders and external partners to identify and co-develop opportunities in the customer centric emerging technology space 
•    Work collaboratively with Group Technology & Operations (GTO), Business Unit GTO teams and Global Ventures teams to actively create, market and merge opportunities 
•    Identify risks and a risk-mitigation-mapping matrix for coping with and overcoming such risks
•    Externally benchmark target opportunities using key data analysis and KPI’s
•    Work broadly across multiple Technology / Digital platforms, across all Business Units and geographies
•    Champion new technologies and operation excellence by setting and sharing program goals and measuring and demonstrating impact
•    Combine strategic thinking with hands on delivery work, collaborate in a consultative fashion with all senior stakeholders (Business Units, Functions, etc.), to provide practical input on opportunities and provide solutions to improve competitive advantage

 

Your skills and experience:

 

•    10 years + experience, commercially astute and with technology domain expertise
•    Proven ability to create business cases, influencing and gaining support from key stakeholders including C-level executives and business partners
•    Experience in leading integration deployments
•    Experience with vendor management, including demonstrated success in conducting RFP's and vendor service transitions, creating KPI’s
•    Awareness of workplace analytics or digital employee experience management tools
•    Experience with organizational change management methodologies
