Sustainability Analyst, Customer Engagement, 2 years, 80-100%

Do you want to join a central team to help Zurich deliver on net zero in underwriting, have you considered what the transition and overall sustainability objectives mean to our customers and just how important insurance is to support them? 

We are looking for a Customer Engagement Sustainability Analyst to work with us in the Commercial Insurance Sustainability team. Specifically, you will support the engagement process with our customers to understand their transition pathways whilst building your own skills around sustainability and related topics. If you have a flexible mindset and a passion to learn whilst contributing, then this could be the role you’re looking for to gain experience and develop your skillset in an area key to achieving Zurich’s ambitions.

What you will do
 

• Prepare for and track engagement with customers working closely with the team and market facing colleagues

• Ensure a seamless experience for our customers through thorough preparation and insightful materials, as well as the integrity of our process 

• Support the development and delivery of relevant onboarding and training materials for market/ customer facing and UW colleagues

• As part of a dynamic team in a fast evolving area, there is ample opportunity to work with subject matter experts in sustainability and across Underwriting to contribute to development of expertise for CI and UW, including researching emerging sustainability topics, contributing to internal learning materials and external articles, building and maintaining an overview of internal and external talking points and positions to leverage across the organization and ensure aligned external messaging.

What you bring  

• Bachelors degree in relevant area and 2+ years’ experience in a sustainability- or insurance-related role

• Interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

• Understanding of Zurich’s structure and functions and ability to build your own network

• An understanding of the Commercial Insurance business and our sustainability commitments

• Track record of contributing to the success of a team

• Open and collaborative approach, with a desire to learn whilst contributing
